The Fun Run is back for our 2025 Fall Fundraiser!  The money we raise supports educational programs and equipment for our students and faculty, including grade level t-shirts, playground improvements, indoor recess games, family engagement events, high touch high tech science labs, teacher grants for classroom funds, and more.  We appreciate your help reaching our school goal this year of $30,000!

Q: What Is Fun Run?

Fun Run is PTA’s Fall fundraiser. It is also a schoolwide event which will take place during the school day on Friday, October 24th, 2025.

Q: What happens at the Fun Run event?

The students will participate in Fun Run during their specials period on Friday, October 24th, 2025. For half the time they will run laps, and for the other half they will be challenged by an inflatable obstacle course.

Below is the Specials schedule, so you'll be aware of your student's run times:

Pre-K: 9:15-10:00am

Kinder: 12:15-1:00pm

1st: 11:30-12:15pm

2nd: 8:30-9:15am

3rd: 10:00-10:45am

4th: 1:30-2:15pm

5th: 10:45-11:30am

Q: Can I attend?

Yes, parents are invited and encouraged to attend! 

Q: What should my child wear?

Every student will receive a grade level shirt, provided by PTA and our partners. This shirt should be worn at Fun Run and will also be used for other events and field trips throughout the year. Students should also wear comfortable athletic shoes.

Q: How do I donate?

You can donate online by following the steps above. Please check to see if your employer will match your donation, too! Purefoy PTA is a 501c3 organization and qualifies for many matching programs—it’s an easy way to multiply your impact, and all donations are tax deductible.

Q: Why should I donate?

Fun Run donations pay for all the educational assembly programs (like Hip Hop with Hoppen Message, BMX Bike show, Dennis Lee & Nana Puddin, and more) during the year, STEM night, and for each K-5 class to have a hands on science experience in their classrooms with High Touch High Tech. They also fund teacher grants for educational resources, annual subscriptions to Scholastic news, and campus improvements such as the playground canopy, the courtyard seating, the turf expansion, the Gaga pit, and the book vending machine. And let’s not forget teacher appreciation week, teacher luncheons and birthday celebrations, and family engagement events like The Back to School Splash and The Epic Carnival. In short, Fun Run is a *big deal* and makes a tremendous difference in our kids’ educational experience.
